Owner/C.E.O
Owner/ C.F.O
As Owner and CEO of Adaptive Innovation Services, a family-owned organization founded alongside my parents, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality support for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our mission is rooted in dignity, inclusion, and innovation—and guided by family values that shape everything we do.
In my role, I ensure full compliance with DHHS regulations and oversee service delivery to make sure each person we serve receives care that is both person-centered and effective. I’m passionate about creating systems that not only meet regulatory standards, but truly make a difference in people’s lives.
Every day, I strive to honor the vision my family began—empowering people with disabilities to live full, meaningful lives through support that adapts to their needs.
As the CFO of Adaptive Innovation Services, I bring 13 years of banking experience to the financial
leadership of our family-run agency. In addition to managing payroll and overseeing the books, I
also serve as Vice President of three bank locations in Grand Island, Nebraska. My background in
finance and operations helps ensure our agency is both fiscally sound and positioned for long-term
growth.
Adaptive Innovation Services is more than just a business-it's a family-driven mission. My husband
(COO) and I partnered with our daughter, Taylor (CEO), to help turn her dream of owning an agency
into reality. Inspired by her passion for supporting adults with disabilities, we built this agency to
reflect the values that matter most to us: compassion, inclusion, and innovation.
Outside of work, I enjoy the simple joys of life with my family. We live on a lake with our silver lab,
River, and spend as much time as we can camping, relaxing outdoors, and making memories
together.
I'm proud to be part of something that combines professional purpose with personal passion-and
even prouder to build it alongside the people I love most.
John Wood
Owner/ C.O.O
As the COO of Adaptive Innovation Services and a lifelong entrepreneur, I bring both leadership and
hands-on technical experience to our family-founded business. While my full-time role is running our
fiberglass manufacturing company, I'm proud to support this new venture alongside my wife and
daughter-both of whom have inspired and driven this mission from the beginning.
My daughter, who serves as our CEO, is the heart of the operation, managing day-to-day services
and ensuring we remain committed to supporting adults with disabilities with compassion and
integrity. My wife and I provide the financial and operational support behind the scenes, and I focus
on implementing and maintaining the technology that helps our company run efficiently.
Outside of work, my wife and I enjoy camping with our dog River and spending time with our
growing family. This business is more than a project-it's a reflection of our values and our desire to
make a lasting, positive impact in our community.
Jaci Badura
Nurse
My name is Jaci. I have been a Registered Nurse for eight years. I graduated with my BSN from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2017. In the beginning of my career, I worked as an ICU nurse for six years. I got the opportunity to do many travel nursing assignments throughout the United States. I learned a lot, and I am very grateful for that time. In 2023, I switched roles to become a clinic nurse. Clinic nursing has taught me a lot about the importance of preventative care. I have recently become familiar with the developmental disability service nurse role, as I have been working to ensure individuals with developmental disabilities health and safety is a priority for the last ten months. I am currently a Masters student to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. I enjoy spending time with my two year old daughter, Raynie and spending time outside when the weather is nice. I am excited to assist in making health and safety for the individuals at Adaptive Innovation Services a priority.

Kennia Garcia
Associate Director
Case Manager
Hi I’m Hayley and I’m joining Adaptive Innovation Services as the Associate Director! I’m bringing over 10 years of dedicated experience within the human services field, and six years in the developmental disability field.
In my previous roles I served as a Case Manager, Residential Manager, Shared Living Provider, and Direct Support Professional (DSP). This extensive hands-on experience provides me with a unique, ground-up perspective on the needs of individuals, families, and staff.
Im deeply committed to the mission of Adaptive Innovation Services. I’m looking forward to supporting the team, fostering a culture of excellence, and contributing to the growth and success of this agency!
People come in all different shapes and sizes, with varying struggles and successes, and I am passionate about supporting individuals of all kinds. My experience as a DSP and CM are backed by my volunteering with a disability advocacy group and helping lead inclusive programs. At the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I worked with TrioSSS, supporting eligible college students who are first-generation, low-income, have a disability, or a combination of these factors. I also mentored students from diverse backgrounds requiring additional accommodation and support, and I interned at a nonprofit promoting individualism and pride in self-identity and culture. I worked closely with the disability supports office, directly assisting students facing various challenges.
Something I cannot emphasize enough, is that I am passionate about promoting independence, empowerment, and support for all individuals. My core values align with AIS's mission to respect, empower, and support individuals—especially those who need extra guidance.
